OUR FEES
Initial Evaluation: $200
Individual Session: $180
Couples/Family Session: $195
(*please note that most insurance companies do not cover couples therapy, given that relationship issues are not considered a billable, medically necessary diagnosis)
In-Network Insurance
LiveWell Therapy Associates accepts all in-network plans for:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Tufts Health Plan (Tufts Commercial plans only, we cannot accept Tufts Public plans)
We recommend that all clients call the 800 number on the back of their health care card to confirm coverage and ask about copays and any deductibles.
Self Pay
Many clients choose to self pay in order to guarantee the highest level of choice as well as protection of their healthcare privacy.
Out of Network Insurance
We also accept out of network insurance coverage for clients who have a plan that allows “out of network benefits” (for example Harvard Pilgrim, Beacon, Aetna and Cigna PPO plans). Please call the 800 number on your insurance card to confirm coverage. It is important for you to accurately understand what your coverage is, including any deductibles to be met, co-payments due, as well as the need for authorizations. Clients are financially responsible for any payments their insurance company does not provide. If you are using out of network coverage, you must pay us our full fee at the time of the session and we will provide you with a bill to submit to your insurance company. They will reimburse you directly in the amount of their out of network rate.
CANCELLATION FEE
Any cancellation made with less than 24 hours notice will result in a late cancellation fee of $150. This cannot be billed to insurance companies and is the full responsibility of the client.
Payment
Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check and all major credit cards. HSA and FSA credit cards are accepted as well. Payments are due at the time of each session.
