Therapist
Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth. It’s normal to feel stuck or overwhelmed, but you don’t have to face these challenges alone. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can heal from past experiences, develop and foster healthier relationships, and align with your authentic self. Together, we can work to foster confidence, self-compassion, and lasting change. No matter where you are in your journey, therapy can offer clarity, support, and tools to navigate life’s complexities.
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, OCD, and LGBTQ+ identity exploration, using an integrative, person-centered approach rooted in psychodynamic techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic principles, and feminist theories. I am also passionate about supporting clients with depression, relationship issues, and life transitions; helping them navigate these concerns with compassion and care. I find emotional expression, the mind-body connection, and mindfulness practices deeply valuable tools to utilize in the therapeutic space. I believe that the therapeutic process is a collaborative effort, where we work together to set meaningful goals and celebrate progress along the way. My work is grounded in cultural sensitivity, creating an inclusive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds. I am passionate about creating a safe and trusting space where you are seen, heard, and valued.
My clinical experience has included Alzheimer’s research, crisis mental health, and working with underserved populations, including those impacted by homelessness, substance use, and domestic violence. These experiences have shaped my commitment to empowering individuals through life’s challenges, helping them uncover their strengths and build a fulfilling, authentic life. I am continually inspired by the resilience of those I work with and feel privileged to be part of their journey toward healing and growth.
